River Guide
Half Italian & half Brazilian, Ida loves the sun, the summer season and being outdoors in the mountains. She has been working in the rafting industry for more than 20 years and has gained great experience in tourism industry. You will find her in the office, always ready to give you great tips and suggestions on what to visit, where to sleep and where to party!

GIORGIA GONFIANTINI

Manager
One day Giorgia went on a family rafting trip on the Italian Alps, and out of the blue she joined a 21-day rafting trip on the Grand Canyon with our team. She’s curious, fun, happy, extroverted, well-traveled, and radiates that particular Italian magic she was born with. Spark up a conversation in Italian, Spanish, English, French or German. She now calls Futeleufu “home”, she will assist you with your trip, always with a sincere smile on her face.

DANIELA HUENUMAN

River Guide
Daniela is the Espolón Queen, an experienced Chilean guide who will lead you safely on the Espolón river, telling you about Futaleufú, its stunning nature and most ancient secrets. There’s no better way to truly get in touch with Patagonian nature than on a trip with Daniela along the river.

NICOLAS LUNA

River Guide
Nicolas is an experienced rafting guide with already 8 years of experience in the Futaleufú river, which he considers the best river in the world for rafting. He always tries to share his great passion for the white waters with his passengers and make them live strong emotions in the river with a great focus on safety as well. During Chilean winter he travels to Canada to work as a raft guide all year round.

RICARDO BARRERA

Born in Cuba from Chilean parents, Ricardo arrived in Futaleufu in 2008 in search for a remote place where, as a medical doctor, he could share his knowledge and especially help people. Kayaking is his passion, you’re sure to spot him in the river or working in the field. He’s a fundamental part of our staff.

Everything Guide
Our mascot and travel companion, Lemu is going to be welcoming you as soon as you get to our office … she might even escort you on your trip! If you want to go trekking, she will probably be your guide, hopefully on the right path.

Born in the fields around Futaleufú, she’s well-travelled and never refuses a ride on our bus. Don’t forget to say hi to her!!

MAURICIO FERNANDEZ

River Guide
Mauricio is one of the most passionate guides that you’ll ever meet. He fell in love with the river at a young age and hasn’t stopped since! He’s active as a guide all year round, following summers around the word and rafting in many different rivers. You will feel his extraordinary energy and passion for the river, it’s contagious.

VICTORIA BIANCO

Webmaster
Vicky, part of our land team, has traveled the world like few others, all the while creating websites and painting. Loves photography, art and all the beautiful things in life… a true free artist! Currently living in Ensenada, near Puerto Varas, Chile, where she has built an amazing, environmentally aware Bed & Breakfast. Speaks Italian, English and Spanish.
