IRF RAFTING GUIDE EVALUATION Class II-III-IV

DURATION: 2 days
PRICE: 200.000 CLP

The IRF evaluations are for professional rafting guides that have some working experience in whitewater rafting. The certification level depends both on the class of the river where the course will be held, as well as on the candidate’s professional skills.

Prerequisites

– Be at least 18 years of age
– Completed 8 hour first-aid course (including basics RCP)
– Recommendation letter from a rafting company

IRF TRIP LEADER EVALUATION Class II-III-IV

DURATION: 3 days
PRICE: 250.000 CLP

The IRF evaluations are for rafting guides that want to advance their career becoming trip leaders for commercial rafting trips or expeditions. To become a certified trip leader you first have to pass the Rafting guide evaluation. You can be assessed during the same course for both.

Prerequisites

– be at least 18 years of age
– Completed 16h first aid course (including basics RCP)
– Recommendation letter from a rafting company and an extensive curriculum as a rafting professional

Skills

In addition, during the guide evaluation you will have proved:
– Safety talk
– Guiding skills and passenger handling
– Flip handling
– White water swimming
– Rope throw
– Written exam

IRF SAFETY KAYAK EVALUATION Class II-III-IV

DURATION: 2 days
PRICE: 200.000 CLP

The IRF safety kayak evaluations are for professional safety kayakers that have been working for rafting companies. In order to pass the evaluation you will have to prove your abilities not only as a kayaker but also in rescuing people in different scenarios.

The certification level depends both on the class of the river where the course will be held, as well as on the candidate’s professional skills.

– Completed 8h first-aid course (including basics RCP)
– Recommendation letter from a rafting company
