AKA Raketa, he began his river life rowing a Cataraft in Futaleufu. Today he’s a rafting instructor, other than a pro kayaker and worldwide certified guide. He’s traveled extensively around Chile, Europe, Brazil, Nepal, Canada and United States, but his love for the Futaleufu always brings him back. His passion for the whitewater is so deep and contagious that at the end of every trip you’ll be ready for more! He speaks Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and English.
One day Giorgia went on a family rafting trip on the Italian Alps, and out of the blue she joined a 21-day rafting trip on the Grand Canyon with our team. She’s curious, fun, happy, extroverted, well-travelled, and irradiates that particular italian magic she was born with. Spark up a conversation in Italian, Spanish, English, French or German. She now calls Futeleufu “home”, she will assist you with your trip, always with a sincere smile on her face.
From the Spanish Pyrenees, he’s an expert mountain and rafting guide and instructor. He has traveled the world as an adventurer, exploring most continents. He has a kind smile and the highest spirit… he’ll make of your trip an unforgettable adventure.
Jorge mixes his incredible love for the river, especially the Futaleufú, with a strong passion for nature and the outdoors. If he’s not guiding a trip, you’ll probably find him hiking a mountain, swimming or helping out in the garden. Ask him about local culture, he’ll have some fun stories to share.
As many of us, Flo fell in love with the Futaleufú river and decided to move here from France. He has vast international experience in several rivers that he’s paddled all around the world, and will surely make you feel safe in the water.
When Andrea first met face to face with the white waters.. well, it was love at first sight. He immediately decided to make the river the center of his profession. With his contagious laugh, he’ll make you feel at ease as soon as you get into the water!
Ayelen has been part of our team for a few years, helping with a big smile in and out of the river. She fell in love with the Futaleufú at an incredibly young age, and she’s the first Chilean woman that at the age of 16 ran the Puente a Puente section by herself on a Cataraft.
Born in Cuba from Chilean parents, Ricardo arrived in Futaleufu in 2008 in search for a remote place where, as a medical doctor, he could share his knowledge and especially help people. Kayaking is his passion, you’re sure to spot him in the river or working in the field. He’s a fundamental part of our staff.
Vicky lived and studied in several countries and has traveled the world like few others, all the while creating websites and painting. Loves photography, art and all the beautiful things in life… a true free artist! Currently living in Ensenada, near Puerto Varas, Chile, where she has built an amazing, environmentally aware Bed & Breakfast. Speaks Italian, English and Spanish.
Ricardo was born and raised in Futaleufú and knows a lot about its history and culture. When he’s not kayaking or taking incredible pictures you can spot him in the shade, sipping mate with friends. If you see him by the river, don’t forget to smile at his camera!
